Chasetown is situated on the northern edge of the Birmingham/West Midlands conurbation, in Staffordshire. It is one mile north of the A5 and is on the edge of picturesque Cannock Chase. It has a population of approximately 8,200.
The area, although sharing many attributes with an urban town, has a rural element, having farmland to the south and Chasewater Country Park to the west. Immediately to the south of Chasetown is the M6 Toll Road. (Junction 6), which allows access to the motorway system.
